He had never seen a grocery store in the context
he saw it that day. Every item took on a new, erotic meaning. By the time Mr.
Middlethorpe returned to his car, he was in a painful state of arousal. He
pulled into a secluded spot in the parking garage then sank low in the driver’s
seat. He unzipped his trousers and fumbled with his briefs. Handkerchief in
hand, he brought himself some relief. As he resettled his clothing, he came to
the conclusion that either his wife’s plan was perhaps the best thing she could
