Coming Soon - SEASONED VETERAN

There's no age limit on falling in love.

At forty years old, the Mustangs batting coach, Jake Tulleson, has spent a lifetime running from commitment. When he falls in love with a woman barely older than his daughter, he uses every excuse to justify leaving her when the season is over. It isn’t long before he realizes his mistake and heads back to Dallas to claim what’s his, but it’s going to take a Christmas miracle to convince her to give him a second chance.

Siobhan Flannery is well aware of Jake’s reputation for loving ‘em and leaving, but she believes her love is enough to make him stick around, despite their fifteen year age difference. Before the stadium lights dim following the teams final playoff game, Jake ends their affair and disappears to his off-season hidey-hole. When he returns weeks later, full of remorse and begging for another chance, she just wants him to go away and leave her be. It’ll be a cold day in Dallas before she takes him back.

Thursday Thirteen - The Christmas 'Don't I Wish' List

Last week I posted a list of things I didn’t want to find under my Christmas tree, so this week I set out to create my money’s no object list Christmas list. I found it surprisingly difficult to come up with thirteen things I consider over the top luxury items. A couple of them are things I could buy for myself if I really, really wanted to. The rest, not so much. But it’s nice to dream!

1.      Vintage Starlet Robe
2.      Season Tickets to the New York Yankees
3.      Alaskan Cruise – I’m not picky. Choose one.
5.      A nice, 4 Bdr. Victorian  - this one will do nicely.
7.      My own tour bus
8.      Maid/cook/personal assistant. I couldn’t find one of these online. What a shame. I really could use one.
9.      Gazebo
13.  Peace.
