1) What is the name of your character? Is he/she fictional or an historic person?
Steven Rankin is a fictional person.
2) When and where is the story set?
Hearts on Fire takes place in present day, in Somerset, a beach community in the Northeast United States.
3) What should we know about him/her?
Steve is a single dad who puts his daughters needs before his own. He also has a low tolerance for people who shirk their responsibilities.
4) What is the main conflict? What messes up his/her life?
The last thing Steve needs is another flighty woman in his life, but there's something about the bohemian cloth vendor at the Renaissance faire that makes him want ignore the warning bells clanging in his head.
5) What is the personal goal of the character?
Steve wants to be a good parent.
6) Is there a working title for this novel, and can we read more about it?
