Love Me Twice is the third book in the Lothario Series (aka - The Lust Boat series).

One line from LOVE ME TWICE.

She’d loved him almost as long as she’d loved Sean, but they’d never been lovers, something she regretted now that time had run out.

4.75 Stars. "...romance that is hotter than molten lava and an interesting man hunt all in one story!"

Spend some time with Sean and Drew in -
Love Me Twice - book 3 in the Lothario series.

Sean Callahan came aboard the Lothario to do his brother Ryan a favor, and ended up the man in charge when both Ryan and Richard left the ship with the women they love. The last thing he needs is a complication, and Celeste is definitely a complication. Once upon a time Celeste had been part of his team as well as his lover, but after a disaster of a mission, and the realization that the other member of his team, Drew was in love with her too, she'd disappeared. Now she’s back, and it’s high time she choose.
Some women have all the luck. Celeste just isn't one of them. All the luck she seems to have is the bad kind. How else can you explain ending up on a ship with the two men she's tried to forget for the last five years? Even worse, not a thing has changed. She still loves them both. Leaving them behind only postponed the decision she knows she has to make, and they aren’t helping any. In fact, they’re both doing everything they can to convince her to choose them. But, Celeste isn’t choosing anyone until she understands how their ménage a trios turned into a ménage gone wrong.

Excerpt -
“You and your associate can relax and enjoy your vacation, courtesy of Uncle Sam. Drew and I will take care of this.”
At the sound of Sean’s voice, she turned to face him. She knew as soon as he said he was in charge that he meant it literally.
“What exactly do you mean by that? If you think I’m going to buy into the theme of this ship while you do your spook thing, you have another think coming.” She wasn’t ready to relinquish her duties to a couple of former spooks, even if they were more than that to her.
Sean’s eyes darted to Drew again, and then came to rest on her. Premonition tingled along her nape and shivered down her spine. They were up to something, and she’d bet her best vibrator, the lifelike one that reminded her of Sean, that she wasn’t going to like it.
She was right.
“You owe us a decision.”
Just like that, the conversation shifted from business to personal.
“You just heard my decision.” She made one last attempt to grab the wheel and regain control before the mutiny was successful.
“Don’t act as if you don’t understand, Celeste. The business decision has been made. Drew is in charge of security. The decision we want is a personal one.”
Querido Dios. Her heart lurched and sank to her toes like an anchor. Five years ago, he’d asked for a decision, the same one she was sure he was going to demand now. She made the only decision possible then, she’d run away. Apparently, all she’d done was postpone the inevitable.
“You can’t be serious.” The words were barely a whisper.
“He is.” Drew’s soft voice came from a spot not a foot behind her. He’d moved without her noticing. Both of them were capable of moving like ghosts, hardly disturbing the air around them. For a spy it was a good trait, but in a civilian, it was unnerving.
“Don’t get in a snit. You don’t have to decide today.” Sean said it as if it was perfectly logical, when they all knew there was nothing logical about this.
“Well, that’s good.” Stall. Her mind whirled with possible escape scenarios. Short of jumping ship though, she couldn’t come up with a single one.
“You ran away five years ago so you wouldn’t have to decide between us. The way we figure it, you have a whole week, well six days if you don’t count the day we dock. We’re reasonable men. We know you need current information in order to make a decision, so this is what we’re going to do.”
Celeste folded her arms across her chest and locked her knees. As long as the ship didn’t make any sudden moves, she might remain upright. Sean’s face gave away none of the emotion she knew lurked beneath the surface. She’d hurt him when she left without explanation. He didn’t have to tell her that.
“You get to spend two days with each of us, alternating. We’ll toss a coin to see who goes first. That’s only fair, don’t you think?”
She couldn’t think. Too much information. Too many feelings. Too many memories. Too many needs. She hovered on the edge of something. Something dangerous…and seductive.
“Uh.”
“Good, you agree.”
“Wait!” She found her voice, and a small portion of her brain began to function. “That’s only four days. What about the other two days?” She couldn’t believe she asked that when she should have been raging at the two of them for their macho, high-handed, lunatic plan.
“The fifth day is shore day. We’ll spend it together, the three of us.”
Her mind and body flashed to another time they’d spent together. They’d believed it was the end, but it had turned out only to be the beginning, of the end. The end had been a long time coming, but she could see it clearly now, six days away.
“On the sixth day, we expect you to choose. Neither one of us is willing to let you walk out of our lives again.”
Her knees shook, and her hands were clammy. “What if I don’t want either one of you? It’s been five years. Maybe my feelings have changed.” Like hell, they have.
“They haven’t.” Drew’s breath fanned across her nape. When had he gotten that close? Damn. This wasn’t good. Not good at all.
“You want one of us, or both, right now.” Sean had always been observant, and blunt. “I can see it in your eyes.” He inhaled deeply. “Your body betrays you.”
Merde.
“Let’s flip a coin and see who gets her first.” Drew stepped between her and Sean. He pulled a coin from his pocket and turned it so she could see it had two distinct sides. Neither one of them were cheaters. Small consolation.
“Heads, I get her. Tails, you do.”
Sean nodded his agreement. Drew flipped the coin in the air and caught it as it spun downward on its invisible axis.
Celeste watched in fascinated horror as the two men she loved flipped a coin for her as if she was a carnival prize. Drew’s hand closed over the coin, and she jumped as he slapped it on the back of his outstretched arm. It was like watching a train wreck in slow motion. One by one, Drew peeled his fingers away. Then he lifted his hand to reveal the coin, gleaming silver against his sun-bronzed skin. Sean sat forward, and Drew leaned toward him.
Drew scowled.
Sean grinned.
It took less than a few seconds, but it seemed her life passed before her eyes. God help her. They were right. She did want this.

Feelin' Lucky Giveaway Blog Hop

Congratulations to Stepanie A.!!
Her name was chosen via Random.org as the winner of this contest.

So...I was trying to think of something I could share with you that would tie in with the St. Patrick's Day theme, and I was coming up with...nothing. Sure, my real name is very Irish, but I married into it. That doesn't keep me from claiming some of that famed Irish luck whenever I can! But, anyway, back to the story. I've written a few characters with Irish roots - the Callahan brothers for example, Ryan and Sean. They're pretty fantastic, if I do say so myself. They both have recurring roles in my Lothario series books. The first in the series, THE LUST BOAT is Ryan's story, and the third, LOVE ME TWICE is Sean's story, so to honor those two wickedly sexy guys, I'm going to give one lucky (see how I worked that in) person an ebook copy of both titles.

And since the Lothario is known for its Midnight Chocolate Buffet, here's what's being served onboard for St. Patrick's Day. You can find the recipe on my website, complete with a downloadable PDF version to make life easier for you.

Chocolate Guinness Cake

Here's a short excerpt from THE LUST BOAT -

Ryan Callahan

The moan escaped her as Thor flipped the wrap open to expose her bushy mound, covered by the scrap of white cloth he’d optimistically called an undergarment. She knew she should sit up and slap him silly, but it felt too good. Ryan’s hands mirrored Thor’s as they gently rolled her thighs open and kneaded the soft flesh there. She tried to block Thor out of her mind and imagine only Ryan’s hands on her. Fingers slid between her folds, protected by the fine silk panty. “Ah, Ryan, you are a lucky man,” Thor said. “See how she responds to your touch?”
Could this get any worse? The silk panty clung to her skin as the fabric pressed into the moisture pooling there. “Put pressure here.” The heel of his hand pressed down over her mound. Thor demonstrated the technique, rolling his hand against her. “Now you try it.”
Thor’s hand left her, taking his heat with him, only to be replaced by Ryan’s hand that burned even hotter. She’d never been more embarrassed in her life, but oh God, it felt good. Ryan’s touch overwhelmed her, reduced her to a mass of raw nerve endings. Thor continued to issue instructions to Ryan. His voice faded away in the sensual haze Candace drifted in. Lost in the incredible warmth and the need building inside her, she moved her hips, lifting against the delicious pressure Ryan created.

And another from LOVE ME TWICE

Sean Callahan

She turned so she could see him and leaned against the railing. It was a mistake. His eyes, obscured by the aviator sunglasses, gave nothing away. Likewise, his face showed no sign of the roiling emotions the orange juice container guaranteed. He still wore his hair in a military cut, but perhaps to blend in on the ship, several days’ stubble darkened his sharp jaw. Sprawled across the chaise, dressed in nothing more than turquoise shorts she recognized as crew issue, he looked every inch the seducer of women the ship was named for.
It was going to take more than bravado to survive this encounter.
“You didn’t come to see me or Drew, so why are you here?”
“I’m on vacation. I thought a cruise would be relaxing.”
“You always were a terrible liar.”
There wasn’t any sense in arguing that point. She couldn’t win because it was true. That flaw had been the bane of her existence within the CIA, and later, the DIA. Thankfully, she’d had other qualities that made her a valuable asset to the department. Apparently, a change from one bowl of alphabet soup to another had done nothing to improve her deceptive abilities. “I’m here on business. I need to talk to your brother.”
He raised the juice container to his lips and drained it. Not a good sign. “You work for?”
“That’s none of your business.”
“If it involves the Lothario, it’s my business. Ryan isn’t onboard.” His smile challenged her to argue the point.
“Richard Wolfe?”
“Also not here. It’s me, or nobody.”
“Accidenti!” Crap! Some women had all the luck. She wasn’t one of them. She turned her gaze to the open sea. “You’re in charge?”
He moved as quietly as a jaguar, and she knew, he could be equally deadly. Her heart raced as he joined her at the balustrade. One arm stretched across the small of her back, and his palm came to rest on the curve of her thigh and inched upward until it cupped her butt cheek. The scrap of lace covering it did nothing to filter the heat radiating from his skin to hers. His thumb stroked the soft flesh he found there.
“If you can call it that. What’s this about?” His voice dropped to that low register, the one that made her pussy clench and her mind go blank.

Weekend Dirty Dozen 11/11/11

This is a very special weekend in the United States, set aside to honor the men and women who have served our country in uniform. So, in keeping with Veteran's Day, I've chosen this snippet from the third book in the Lothario series, LOVE ME TWICE. Both heroes in this book are ex-military. Sean Callahan is a West Point graduate, and Drew Whitcomb is an Annapolis grad. They don't always see eye to eye!

Sean kicked against the pool wall and propelled his body toward the opposite end. He did it without conscious effort. Years of routine made swimming laps as effortless as breathing. This was his time to think every day. Some people meditated, some sat behind closed doors to find their own time, but the pool had been his choice since his teenage years.
Drew thought it was the ultimate irony; the Army dirt-eater who loved the water. Sean didn’t care what the slimy squid thought, he wasn’t going to change his ways because some fucking Navy SEAL found humor in it.
His arms moved mechanically, freeing his mind to examine whatever was foremost in his thoughts. Today, Celeste held all his attention, and the fact that he’d made a devil’s bargain with Drew. In a few short hours, he’d turn Celeste over to his best fucking friend. He’d kill the son-of-a-bitch if he touched her. His blood heated, and he was surprised the pool water didn’t boil.

Here's what others are saying about LOVE ME TWICE -

"...romance that is hotter than molten lava and an interesting man hunt all in one story!"

"Love, passion and scorching love scenes made this book an engaging read."

Blurb -

Sean Callahan came aboard to do his brother Ryan a favor, and ended up the man in charge when both Ryan and Richard left the ship with the women they love.  The last thing he needs is a complication, and Celeste is definitely a complication.

Once upon a time Celeste had been part of his team as well as his lover, but after a disaster of a mission, and the realization that the other member of his team, Drew was in love with her too, she'd disappeared. Now she was back, and Sean was trapped on the Lothario, his brother's floating bordello, with the woman he still loves, as well as Drew.

Some women have all the luck. Celeste just isn't one of them. All the luck she seems to have is the bad kind. How else can you explain ending up on a ship with the two men she's tried to forget for the last five years? Even worse, not a thing has changed. She still loves them both. Leaving them behind only postponed the decision she knows she has to make. Celeste has one week to choose between Sean and Drew, or tell both of them goodbye, this time for good.

Six Sentence Sunday 9/4/11

Here's a little snippet from my latest release, book three in the Lothario series, LOVE ME TWICE.

Celeste was having a massage, until Sean arrived...

Oh what that man could do with just one finger. It ought to be illegal. Probably was in some states.
His touch was so light he probably wasn’t even leaving a trail of DNA behind. No evidence. Nothing to convict him of the crime. Thanks to the satin blindfold, she couldn’t even claim to be an eyewitness, but her body knew. The traitorous bitch.

Six Sentence Sunday 8/21/11

Thanks for stopping by today. This little snippet is from the third book in the Lothario Series, LOVE ME TWICE. Celeste is having dinner with Sean after five years of separation.

They’d always been easy together, and it was good to know that hadn’t changed. Celeste watched Sean. She catalogued the new lines on his face, and remembered how he’d gotten the small scar near his left ear. They had a lot of history together, and she’d never be able to let that go completely. But the intervening years had changed them both, maybe in a good way, maybe not. That had yet to be seen.

Six Sentence Sunday 7/31/11

Wow! I can't believe July has come and gone! Tomorrow is the long awaited (at least by me) release of book three in the Lothario Series, LOVE ME TWICE. In honor of this momentous occasion, today's six are from this super fabulous story. Okay, my opinion, but see if you don't agree.

Sean's thoughts as Celeste approaches...

She looked like sin on a mission. That her mission didn’t include him made him physically ill. His heart raced like a thoroughbred on steroids, and then it stopped cold as she made her way across the room. The dress he’d chosen for her days ago, when he was certain she would choose him, skimmed her curves like a moonless midnight sky over the landscape. He didn’t need moonlight, any light, to navigate those curves. His hands, his body, knew them intimately.

Six Sentence Sunday 7/10/11

Thanks for stopping by! Today, I've chosen another snippet  from the third book in the Lothario Series, LOVE ME TWICE, which releases Aug. 1, 2011.

“Come here, Celeste.”
Her core melted at the familiar command. How many times had he said those words, and how many times had she obeyed? Too many to count. No, I won’t give in, I won’t submit. She knew it was a lie as her feet betrayed her.

Six Sentence Sunday 7/3/11

In honor of those who've served our country in and out of uniform, I've chosen a bit from my upcoming release, LOVE ME TWICE. This is from Sean Callihan, a West Point grad and now, retired from clandestine services. He's just found Celeste, his former parter, former lover, and the woman he can't forget.

What he hadn’t counted on was the tsunami of feelings when he touched her. Hell, he hadn’t planned to touch her. He flexed his fingers. He wouldn’t be surprised if his fingertip was singed, she’d been so damned hot. Her skin was still as smooth as satin, and for brief second, she’d slipped under his control. But, she’d had years to build walls again, and she’d fought her body’s natural inclination.

Have a safe and absolutely fabulous holiday weekend!

Six Sentence Sunday 6/26/11

I couldn't resist another snippet from my upcoming release, LOVE ME TWICE. It's been five years since Celeste has seen Sean. How much has changed?

They’d always been easy together, and it was good to know that hadn’t changed. Celeste watched Sean. She catalogued the new lines on his face, and remembered how he’d gotten the small scar near his left ear. They had a lot of history together, and she’d never be able to let that go completely. Six Sentence Sunday 5/22/11

Welcome! I've chosen an excerpt from my upcoming release, LOVE ME TWICE, book three in the Lothario Series.

“Drew?”
A hint of uncertainty, or was it warning, tinted the single syllable. Whatever it was, it went unheeded. Drew moved. One hand curved around the back of her neck, the other closed over the arm of her chair. He swung her around, chair and all, and his lips covered hers.

Six Sentence Sunday 4/10/11

Happy Six Sentence Sunday to you all! Today I've chosen an excerpt from book three in the Lothario series, LOVE ME TWICE, which will release on Aug. 1, 2011.
This scene takes place in the first chapter. Celeste has been aboard the Lothario for a few hours, is in the middle of a massage so relaxing she's forgotten why she's on board - until... You knew there was an until... didn't you? Well, here it is - until her former spying partner/former lover becomes her masseur.

Enjoy!

So why was she lying here letting Sean look his fill, and, she almost choked on her own spit as Sean tweaked one nipple and sent a flash of red hot need to her vagina—letting  him touch her? Oh God. His big palm curved around her breast and rolled her ample bosom, testing, before moving to the other one and repeating the process. He’d always been a breast man. If he was in the mood, he could amuse himself for a long time with a pair of breasts. He’d driven her mad more times than she could count, driven her to beg.
